factoids, observations, and other stuff about my trip to new york:
1. I traveled mostly by plane.
2. uh-oh was the most overly used word on the trip.
3. I spent $200 on miniature buildings.
4. new york is a nice city.
5. me and mom left the day construction of the freedom tower began.
6. we missed our flight so we had to spend an extra night in Detroit.
7. I couldn't understand any of the workers in the hotel in new york. I could make out some english and some spanish words out, but I couldn't understand what they were saying.
8. I seemed out of it the entire trip, because I was busy looking at the skyscrapers.
9. "They don't have very many of these(skyscrapers) in Indiana".
10. "knowing how to speak 3 languages really gives you an advantage."
11. I thought they only had double decker buses in England. hmmm...
12. the hotel I stayed in was down the street from the empire state building and there was a gift shop 2 doors down.
13. my mood ring was bright, bright blue on the plane, meaning I was in a very good mood.
